It is the subject on everyone's lips, but what does it mean to you & yours? The truth is, it doesn't matter who you are or where you are, this will be touching your life in some way... Even if that is a family member, friend, or colleague I rarely mention this, but as a cancer survivor I have dedicated the last 6 years of my life to sourcing from research, optimal nutrition from food & further supplementation to assist with immunity & overall building a body type that's harder to penetrate. My defences are notably different, which even I look back at and sometimes take an internalised "double-take." On every level, exercise and nutrition in the right doses I believe gave me the best forcefield to build a strong defence to outside influences such as common colds and bugs. Since I have boosted my immune system nutritionally & physically I have experienced zero days off from work through illness. My Urology consultant, the legend Tim O'brien has used me as an example amongst his peers who sit with him on the UK's medical board as an "outstanding example of someone who has continuously stacked the odds in their favour." As someone who mixes in various circles daily / hourly, you would think I would be susceptible to the same common virus and infections that most people experience. I am not for one moment guaranteeing optimal health, but what I am saying is when I changed my lifestyle that wasn't that bad (non smoker, non drinker, fairly active) I rarely if ever became unwell and when I did.. my body just seemed to take control of it. I was not previously like this, I caught almost everything going so the only differentiator I can point to is my nutrition, my mindset, and my exercise regime. In light of building a more robust immune system in the face of adversity, naturally I want to pass this information on, which is when I began training in Health, Fitness and Nutrition. Aside from my own journey I have clients who used diet and exercise to face health battles, some of those came to me after seeing my own journey to boost my immune system & optimising my strength both physically and mentally. So this is not new to me or a number of my long standing clients. All coaches have their own stories and motivations as to why they train others, however what is happening now, is so closely linked to the reason I started to help others there will never be a more poignant time to pass on my extended education and qualifications in this field. Although my own personal journey began 6 years ago now it is not lost on me how scared people must feel today about how little knowledge or direction they have. Hence launching this programme as quick as I was able to. This is the very first step to a more indestructible you.
